He would defy time to save her

“Wow! This book takes the wonderful feeling you get from a Jane Austen novel and adds the thrill of the paranormal. This is a treat for all Jane Austen fans, but also a great read for anyone unfamiliar with her works. I highly recommend adding this to your library!” – Lisa Barry, author of the Gargoyles Den series

In this reimagining of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey, we follow Henry Tilney on the journey of saving Catherine Morland from an unforeseen fate. With the help of his sister, Eleanor, and some allies from a vampire-like race, can Henry Tilney overcome his adversaries to turn back time and change the future in order to save his one true love?

“As the original Henry Tilney himself noted: “The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.” I am delighted to inform you, dear reader, that you have such a novel in your hands. Miss Rubin has pieced together a unique and brilliant combination of Jane Austen’s romance and charm, and aliens and vampires which cannot help but delight! She masterfully weaves together a classic Regency tale and science fiction, creating a world that is familiar and yet undiscovered, which I recommend whole-heartedly to anyone who seeks pleasure in a good novel.” – Nicole DragonBeck, author of First Magyc

About Alanna

I’m originally from Massachusetts. As a northerner, I never missed an opportunity to pick apples, carve pumpkins, or visit Salem to see the witches and haunted happenings. Now that I’m in Florida, not a day goes by when I don’t miss the changing colors of leaves, but I would never go back to having to shovel snow. As a fan of science fiction, paranormal, and romance…I find that individually they are fun, however, I love them more when they’re mashed together. Often, when I am not writing my next adventure you’ll find me torn between watching a Jane Austen adaptation or hopping on the Tardis for an adventure in time and space.

Alanna also has short stories in these works:
